Launching of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government Gov - CSIRT Team in 2021
Tuesday, 16 November 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province represented by the Government and Human Development Sector attended virtually (online) the implementation of the "Inauguration (Launching) of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government Gov-CSIRT Team" which was held live and online by the East Kalimantan Province Diskominfo in Balikpapan.
The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) in collaboration with the East Kalimantan Provincial Government inaugurated the formation of the Gov-CSIRT (Government - Computer Security Incident Response Team) team which is a technical coordination team for internet network incidents with a limited scope for closed circles built by government institutions.
At the event were the Deputy for Cyber and Crypto Security, Government and Human Development, BSSN; Director of Regional Government Security and Cryptography, BSSN; Expert Staff to the Governor of East Kalimantan for Reform and Regional Finance; Head of Diskominfo and a number of Regional Apparatus Representatives within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government; as well as Regency/City Representatives.
At this event, the Governor of East Kalimantan virtually congratulated and supported the formation of the East Kalimantan Province Gov-CSIRT team considering the importance of the team's role and function.
Present as a resource person at this event, Mr. Ferry Astika Saputra, Lecturer at the University of Indonesia, who delivered a presentation regarding the mechanisms and optimization strategies in the implementation of the Gov-CSIRT team in East Kalimantan.
