Bappeda Coordination Meeting throughout East Kalimantan 2018
Bontang, 7/2/2018. The Governor of East Kalimantan was represented by the Head of the UPTB Data & Information Center for the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Ir.Hj. Charmarijaty, M.Si officially opened the 2018 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting with the theme "Strengthening Investment Competitiveness to Accelerate Industrial Downstreaming" in the Ball Room of the Sintuk Hotel, Bontang City, accompanied by the Mayor of Botang, dr. Hj. Neni Moerniaeni, Sp, OG; Head of Bontang City Bappeda, Ministry of Bappenas, Ministry of PUPR on Tuesday, 6/2/2018. The 2018 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting was carried out in collaboration between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, in this case the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda, and the Bontang City Government, in this case the Bontang City Bappeda, at the same time for 2 days from 6 - 7 February 2018 on the dayself oleh Head of Bappeda se KalimanEast Tan along with echelon III, echelon IV and related staff. Meanwhilethe scope of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government was represented by several Regional Apparatus attended by echelon II, echelon III, echelon IV and related staff. In the speech of the Governor of East Kalimantan which was read by the Head of UPTB Pusdatin Bappeda East Kalimantan Province, the implementation of the 2018 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting was a very important step in the 2019 East Kalimantan development planning process, where the results will be input into the initial draft of the 2019 East Kalimantan Province Regional Work Plan (RKPD).
EXPOSITION AND DISCUSSION
The presentation of the 2018 Bapeda Coordination Meeting in East Kalimantan was delivered by several speakers, including:
1. Briefing of the Governor of East Kalimantan Province read by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Dr. Ir. H. Zairin Zain, M.Si;
2. Presentation by the Director of Regional & Area Development of the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas of the Republic of Indonesia, Drs. Oktorialdi, MA, Ph.D regarding Direction and Policy for the 2019 Government Work Plan (RKP) in Equitable Development for Quality Growth;
3. Presentation by the Director General of Construction Development of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia, represented by Mrs. Yolanda Indah Permatasari, SE, MM regarding Alternative Infrastructure Development Financing through the 2019 Government and Business Entity Cooperation Scheme (KPBU);
4. Presentation by the Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Dr. Ir. H. Zairin Zain, M.Si regarding Regional Development Direction and Policy for East Kalimantan Province in 2019;
5. Discussion, responses, suggestions and input from the Heads of Regency/City Bappeda throughout East Kalimantan regarding the resource material.
AGREEMENT RESULTS
- The results of the 2018 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting will then become material for improving the Preliminary Draft of the 2019 Provincial and Regency/City Regional Government Work Plans (RKPD);
- As an effort to Strengthen Investment Competitiveness to Accelerate Industrial Downstreaming, and in line with the National Development Policy Direction, the 2019 Provincial and Regency/City RKPD Priorities, Strategy, Policy Direction and Program/Activities are focused on: a). Accelerate the resolution of land status and improve investment licensing services in areas planned for industrial downstream development; b). Development of transportation infrastructure, water resources and energy that supports the connectivity of National, Provincial and Regency/City Strategic Areas to support the downstreaming of superior commodities, which are mutually integrated through alternative financing schemes for Government and Business Entity Cooperation (PPP); c). Increasing the added value of superior commodities for downstream industries which prioritize the agricultural sector in a broad sense, processing industry, tourism, trade and productive services; d). Improving the quality of competitive human resources to meet job market needs in accordance with industrial downstream plans; e). Increasing efforts to control environmental damage prioritize reducing flooding problems through integrated upstream-downstream management with a collaborative approach between districts/cities.
- Regency/City Bappeda will provide input/sharpening of the Strategic Issues and Problems Identification Working Paper (attached) which is an inseparable part of the minutes of this agreement two weeks after the implementation of the Bappeda Coordination Meeting;
- The results of input/sharpening of the Working Paper on Identification of Strategic Issues and Problems from Regencies/Cities will then become material for improving the RKPD Draft which will be discussed at the 2018 East Kalimantan Province SKPD Forum;
- The implementation of the 2018 Regency/City RKPD Musrenbang will be carried out no later than the third week of March 2018 and the East Kalimantan Province RKPD Musrenbang in the first week of April 2018;
- The 2019 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting will be held in Kutai Kartanegara Regency no later than the first week of February 2019. (cur).
