Forest Carbon Partnership Facility-Carbon Fund (PFCP-CF) Annual Work Plan Assistance Meeting
In an effort to optimize the implementation of the Green House Gas (GHG) emission reduction program in East Kalimantan, the East Kalimantan Bappeda held an Annual Work Plan (AWP) assistance meeting for the Forest Carbon Partnership Facility-Carbon Fund (FCPF-CF) Program today. This event took place in the Regional Police Meeting Room, East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Office.
This meeting was attended by a number of FCPF-CF Program Fund Managers from the Environmental Service, Forestry Service, Plantation Service, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Service, Communication and Informatics Service, Community Empowerment Service and Village Government, as well as the Regional Secretariat's Economic Bureau. The meetings are arranged alternately per session for each invited government agency.
Through this meeting, it is hoped that all parties can contribute actively in developing a sustainable emission reduction strategy, as well as supporting environmentally friendly economic development in East Kalimantan. With this step, it is hoped that efforts to deal with climate change can be more focused and have a positive impact on the community and surrounding ecosystem.
