East Kalimantan Province Poverty Reduction Team (TKPK) Consolidation Meeting 2024
Located in the meeting room of the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, a consolidation meeting of the East Kalimantan Province Poverty Reduction Team (TKPK) was held. This meeting was chaired directly by the Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province and attended by various related agencies, such as Bappeda, Social Service, DPMPD, Health Service, Manpower Service, Fisheries Service, Plantation Service, as well as other institutions that focus on poverty alleviation.
The main agenda of the meeting included discussion of several important matters related to poverty alleviation efforts in East Kalimantan Province. Some of the points discussed include developments in poverty data, both recorded in the Integrated Social Welfare Data (DTKS) and P3KE, as well as plans for implementing the Regional Poverty Coordination Meeting (Rakor) in 2024.
The Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province in his direction emphasized the importance of synergy between various parties in overcoming poverty. He directed that the 2024 Regional Poverty Coordination Meeting be divided into several agendas, including the Pre-Rakor which will be chaired by Assistant I of the Provincial Secretariat. East Kalimantan on 11 to 13 December 2024 with a focus on agreeing on priorities for handling poverty
In this case the importance of innovation in poverty alleviation was also discussed, including coordination with the Provincial Communication and Information Service. East Kalimantan has developed the SENADA Application (Data Analysis Center), which functions to collect and analyze poverty management data from various regional agencies.
Furthermore, in preparing the 2025-2029 RPKD, it is planned to include poverty reduction targets that are adjusted to existing interventions in each area of management. Apart from that, it is important to ensure that extreme poverty reports from all districts/cities in East Kalimantan can be submitted on time.
As a strategic step next year, Poverty Coordination Meetings will be held twice a year, to accelerate poverty reduction in East Kalimantan.
