Tuesday, 06/21/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province held a meeting of the integration of regional geospatial information networks together with the North Penajam Paser Regency and Samarinda City, at the Swissbell Hotel Balikpapan.

This activity was opened by the functional of young expert planners Muhammad Hamsani, ST, M.Sc and attended Samarinda City and Bappelitbang Samarinda City at the Samarinda City session.

by paying attention to Law Number 4 of 2011 concerning Geospatial Information and its derivative laws and regulation, as well as Governor Regulation Number 41 of 2016 concerning the Implementation of One Data One Map and Governor Regulation Number 27 of 2017 concerning Network Regional Geospatial Information of East Kalimantan Province has two understanding, namely first, the integration of the Regional Geospatial Information (IGD) of East Kalimantan Province with the Geospatial Information Network of the North Penajam Paser Regency and the East Kalimantan Province IGD with the Samarinda City IGD. Second, the whole thematic geospatial information published in both the North Penajam Regency Geoportal and Samarinda City Geoportal is allowed to be accessed and published in the East Kalimantan Province Geoportal.
