Socialization of PP Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil Servant Discipline and Implementation of the Post-Pandemic Online Attendance System
On Monday, December 13 2021, the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended the "Socialization of PP number 94 of 2021 and Evaluation of the presence of civil servants within the Provincial Government. East Kalimantan (Post-Pandemic Online Attendance System Implementation).”
PP number 94 of 2021 is a derivative of Law number 5 of 2014 concerning ASN Management, and PP number 11 of 2017.
There is something new about PP 94 of 2021, namely regarding the evaluation of the accumulation of salaries that have committed disciplinary violations, one example is if the civil servant has no information for 10 consecutive days without there is a valid reason, then in the following month the civil servant concerned will not be paid his salary for that month.
Discussed regarding types of civil servant disciplinary violations, including speech; Writing; and Actions.
Those who do not comply with their obligations or violate the prohibitions on civil servant disciplinary provisions, whether done during working hours or outside working hours, will be subject to sanctions/punishments.
There are several levels and types of disciplinary punishment given to civil servants, namely:
- Mild disciplinary penalties that impact the work unit include: verbal warning, written warning or written statement of dissatisfaction.
- Moderate disciplinary penalties that impact agencies include: cutting performance allowances by 25% for 6 months, cutting for 9 months and for 12 months.
- Severe disciplinary penalties that have an impact on the state include: demotion to a lower level position for 12 months, release from position to acting position for 12 months and honorable dismissal not at your own request as a civil servant .
