Consultation Meeting for Bappenas and Bappeda throughout Indonesia
Wednesday, 17 November 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Regional Planning, Control and Evaluation Division, virtually attended the "2021 National Bappenas and Bappeda Consultation Meeting throughout Indonesia".
This activity was held as an effort to strengthen central and regional synergy as well as a form of coordination between the central government and regional governments in preparing development planning.
As development planners, it is hoped that Bappeda and also Bappenas can formulate development plans that do not always have to depend on the APBD or APBN but can also enable the formation of medium and long term investments from investors in each region.
This meeting is important for initial identification of strategic issues per province which will become a reference for regions and ministries/institutions in preparing programs, activities and funding in the regions to support development plans 2023.
Through this consultation meeting, it is hoped that there will be an understanding between Bappenas and Bappeda in looking at the challenges faced in implementing the 2022 Central and Regional Government Work Plans as well as various safeguarding efforts or securing the implementation of these plans.
