Industrialization of East Kalimantan's Superior Products
Samarinda, 25/3/14. Superior products from each Regency/City in East Kalimantan by utilizing sustainable natural resources are a priority
main in the vision of Kaltim Maju 2018, namely "Creating a prosperous and equitable East Kalimantan based on Agro-industry and Environmentally Friendly Energy" with 5 missions, including: 1). Realizing the Quality of East Kalimantan's Human Resources which are Independent and Highly Competitive; 2. Realizing Community Economic Competitiveness Based on Natural Resources and Renewable Energy; 3. Realizing Quality Basic Infrastructure for the Community evenly; 4. Realizing Professional, Transparent and Public Service-Oriented Governance; 5. Realizing Good and Healthy Environmental Quality and Taking a Climate Change Perspective. Of the 5 missions, there are 6 development goals, 20 development targets and 120 development priority programs for East Kalimantan Province.
This was conveyed by Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province, DR.Ir.H. Rusmadi.MS, when delivering his speech and opening the Regional Work Unit Forum (SKPD) of East Kalimantan Province in the context of the 2015 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) of East Kalimantan Province, was attended by approximately 200 participants from all SKPDs within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and SKPDs of Regency/City Governments throughout East Kalimantan in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Strategic Plan meeting room, Jl. Kusumba Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda.
In his speech Plt. The Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province has several important points, including: 1. Regional Development Planning for East Kalimantan Province, utilizing the potential of existing natural resources in a sustainable manner; 2. Economic structure is very important for regional development; 3. Competitiveness of industrialization of superior products in the East Kalimantan region; 4. The growth sector cannot guarantee that the regional economic structure will be better in the future, therefore concrete steps are needed to utilize the potential quality of existing natural resources in a sustainable manner and not ignore aspects of environmental sustainability; 5. The target for access between sub-districts throughout East Kalimantan can be achieved in 2018 and must be seriously considered so that access between sub-districts can be realized; 6. One maps one data is very important for development planning purposes and also for the benefit of the community and this application will be loaned on April 2 2014; 7. The development planning process is very important, however, development implementation and development control are more important to ensure development implementation targets and development quality. The Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province is repositioning itself to respond to the growing regional development demands by building a higher quality regional development planning system and process that utilizes sustainable natural resources and has high competitiveness supported by local wisdom and superior regional products (efficient, effective, economical and sustainable) with clear and measurable development targets based on participatory, transparent and accountable principles.
Development planning and implementation must be able to provide progress and capacity for regional economic independence in improving people's welfare in a just and sustainable manner.
MISSION Elements of the 2013-2018 East Kalimantan Provincial RPJMD Draft include: 1.) Realizing the quality of East Kalimantan's human resources that are independent and highly competitive, the elements are that current technological developments require community readiness to accept and adapt to global changes. The people of East Kalimantan must be able to take advantage of advances resulting from the direct implications of technological developments; 2.) Realizing Community Economic Competitiveness Based on Natural Resources and Energy, the elements of which are based on an analysis of the economic development of East Kalimantan since 40 years ago, where East Kalimantan has gone through several phases of economic development that were less healthy and of poor quality; 3. Realizing quality basic infrastructure for society evenly. Indicators of prosperity and progress in the quality of human life are not only based on economic growth, but the extent of the commitment and efforts of local governments in providing infrastructure facilities evenly; 4). Realizing Professional, Transparent and Public Service-Oriented Governance. Good government is government that is honest, clean and pro-people as the embodiment of the basic principles of good governance. Regional government bureaucracy not only focuses on the quality or performance of the apparatus, but also on institutions and management; 5). Realizing Good and Healthy Environmental Quality and Taking a Climate Change Perspective, Transforming an economy based on unrenewable resources into renewable resources must be carried out by realizing a balance between the economic, environmental and social pillars in development planning towards a green economy.
Implementation of the East Kalimantan Province SKPD forum to obtain priority program and activity proposals for each SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in 2015 in the 2015 East Kalimantan Province Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD) with the theme "Industrialization of Regional Superior Products and Development of New and Renewable Energy through Strengthening Local Capacity".
