National Portal Website Management
Jakarta, Wednesday 21/5/14. The East Kalimantan Province Bappeda together with the East Kalimantan Province Communication and Information Service attended the Seminar
National Portal Website Management www.indonesia.go.id in the multi-purpose meeting room, building 3, floor 1, office of the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia Jl. Veteran No. 18 Jakarta 10110 Tel: (021) 3843858, 3845627 which was attended by approximately 75 participants from the Ministries or Institutions of the Republic of Indonesia and Provincial Governments throughout Indonesia. Meanwhile, participants from the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, represented by the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda, were attended by Muhammad Hamsani, ST from the implementing staff for Statistics and Development Control and Sukandar, S.Sos, East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda Public Relations implementing staff, while participants from the East Kalimantan Provincial Communication and Information Service were attended by H. Abbdulah Sani, SH., M.Hum To the East Kalimantan Provincial Communication and Information Service, Akhmad Mulyadi, Head of Technology and Informatics, East Kalimantan Province Communication and Information Service with staff.
Conducting Seminars
Implementation of a National Portal Website Management Seminar www.indonesia.go.id with the theme "Optimizing the Availability of Data, News and Information about Regional Potential and Indonesian Tourism" on the national portal website www.indonesia.go.id with the aim of holding this seminar in the context of coordinating/improving the national portal website in order to update data, news and information, especially about development results, Indonesian social culture and regional potential in 34 Provinces.
The seminar event starts at 9.00 WIB opened by Assistant Deputy for Policy Data Support and Informatics of the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, ANDRIE SYAHRIZA, S.Kom, M.Si then continued with presentations by resource persons in session I and session II.
First session presentation
The presentation in the first session was delivered by Prof. Zainal A. Hasibuan, Ph.D (Professor at the Faculty of Computer Science, University of Indonesia) with the title Management and utilization of national portals as a gateway to online information and public services and M. H. Munzaer (Head of the Data Center and Informatics Facilities, Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia) with the title "Indonesia National Cloud" with Moderator, Head of Information and Policy Databases, Deputy for Policy Data Support and Informatics.
Second session exposure
The presentation was delivered by resource person Priyambodo RH (Main Journalist-Ombudsman ANTARA News, Executive Director of the Dr. Soetomo Press Institute (LPDS) with the title "Indonesia Multimedia Gateway" and the second speaker was delivered by Drs. Karobard Marsinus, M.Pd (NTT Province Electronic Data Processing Office) with the title "The Existence of the NTT Province PDE Office in the Development of E-Government in Nusa Tenggara Province East". This second session was guided by the Moderator, Head of Systems and Network Development, Deputy for Policy Data Support and Informatics.
Seminar Results
1. The National Portal website www.Indonesia.go.id is a National Portal which is the homepage of the State of Indonesia, and is the official portal site of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia as a means of public information services, so every Ministry/LPNK, Provincial Government and Indonesian Representatives abroad are expected to be able to provide accurate, complete, comprehensive and up-to-date data and information regarding the results of Indonesia's national and socio-cultural development as well as the potential of each province in addition to electronic public service connections.
2. The Indonesian National Portal is expected to be the "gateway" to all information available on various Government agency websites, both from the websites of Ministries/Institutions of the Republic of Indonesia and the websites of Provincial and Regency/City Governments throughout Indonesia. From a technical perspective, the National Portal is at least Web 2.0 based and has harvest facilities and indexes information from various government agency websites. In terms of appearance, the National Portal must be able to present the "face" of government that is transparent, accountable and open.
3. From the institutional technical side, the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information expects that the National Portal will be under the coordination of the Ministry of Communication and Information in accordance with the duties of the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Information.
4. The Regional Government hopes that there will be changes in content and graphic design where the display is expected to represent an image of the Regional Government and can also attract people browsing the Portal and needs to display some of the achievements of the progress and development of the Indonesian Nation. Apart from that, regulations are also expected that regulate the role of Regional Government in supporting the development of the National Portal.
5. The Regional Government expects continuous and ongoing coordination with the Central Government or the website manager www.indonesia.go.id in order to fill in content or update data required by the region.
