Nazrin, M.Si  delivered remarks and opened the Guidance event Technical Integrated Management Information System (SIMPADU) for Poverty Alleviation of East Kalimantan Province in the Basic Pattern meeting room on the first floor of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda office, Jl. Kusuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda.

Ir. H. Nazrin, M.Si accompanied by the Head of the People's Welfare Sub-Sector, Ir. Surono, M.Si and Isa Ansari from the Ministry of National Development Planning/BAPPENAS  and assisted by Bappenas SIMPADU application experts attended by SKPD participants related to the scope of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, approximately fifty people.
In his speech Plh. The Head of Bappeda for East Kalimantan Province said that the acceleration of poverty alleviation program is one of the priority regional development programs based on the RPJMD of East Kalimantan Province for 2013-2018. Overall, the East Kalimantan Provincial Government's 12 priority programs aim to improve the welfare of the people of East Kalimantan, including: 1. Improving the quality of the education delivery system; 2. Improving the quality of health services; 3. Acceleration of economic transformation; 4. Acceleration of poverty alleviation; 5. Increasing and expanding employment opportunities; 6. Community economic development; 7. Fulfillment of environmentally friendly energy needs; 8. Agro-industry development; 9. Strengthening food reserves; 10. Improving the quality of basic infrastructure; 11. Bureaucratic and public service reform; 12. Improving the quality of the environment.
Meanwhile, the speaker from the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Isa Ansari, explained and provided an introduction to the SIMPADU application, namely:
1.    This SIMPADU application is web-based which displays information on poverty programs at the provincial level, both national programs (PNPM) and poverty programs in each region;
2.    The SIMPADU application contains information displayed in analysis format (Graphics, Thematic and Tables)  using the concept of Pre Defined, Free Defined, User Defined; 
3.    Likewise, this application integrates PNPM program data from Simpadu PNPM Mandiri and regional poverty reduction programs (data consolidation).
Integrated Management Information System Application in order to increase cooperation between the Central Government and Regional Governments in managing poverty alleviation, especially in the aspects of planning and monitoring the implementation of activities, the Ministry of Development Planning/Bappenas intends to build a SIMPADU application at the provincial level with the SIMPADU Poverty Alleviation database.
In addition to containing data on PNPM Mandiri, Provincial SIMPADU will also be equipped with data related to regional profile data (POLDES), poverty data (PPLS data) and other data from both BPS and Regional Government.
The existence of the Provincial SIMPADU means that the Government can know in detail all poverty reduction program activities implemented in the region. (Public Relations of Bappeda Kaltim/Sukandar, S.Sos).
