Located in the Meeting Room of the East Kalimantan Province Renja Bappeda, this meeting was opened by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM and attended by Deputy Rector I of Mulawarman University, Prof. Mustofa Agung Sardjono, Chairperson of LP2M University of Mulawarman, dr. Anton Rahmadi, Coordinator of the Center for the Development of Geospatial (PPIIG) Mulawarman University, Yohanes Budi Sulistioadi, Ph.D, GGGI Representative, Dyah Catur, and the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda ranks. This hearing aims to convey the activities of the Mulawarman University Partnership with GGGI and inform the Kick Off.
explained by Dyah Catur that GGGI and Mulawarman University have signed a memorandum of agreement on 15 January 2021 ago. This agreement aims to provide a general framework for cooperation and to facilitate collaboration between the parties in promoting programs, research and joint activities in supporting the development of capacity and development of green economic growth options in East Kalimantan Province in accordance with their respective roles and functions.
The memorandum of agreement is valid until December 2024 with the scope of strengthening the planning, financing and green growth framework in sub-national and local; Increasing the flow of public and private green investment to change green growth strategies and investment plans into applied actions; Increasing South-South Cooperation and Sharing Evidence-Based Knowledge of Green Economic Growth and Sustainable Development; Promote leadership patterns to advance the theory and practice of green growth, by utilizing evidence from the public and private sectors; Other areas that might be agreed upon between the parties.
