Bappeda Performs Sacrifice of Sacrificial Animals
.
Samarinda, August 2, 2020. Gema Takbir echoed to accompany the sacrificial slaughter activities carried out in the backyard of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Office. This activity was led by the Head of Ramsyah General Subdivision, SE.
unlike the previous year where on the commemoration of Eid al-Adha was attended by the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, but the sacrificial implementation this time was only attended by the Sacrifice Committee. This is done in order to comply with the health program given the Pandemi Covid19 which is still in an emergency condition.
Basically, the slaughter of this sacrificial animal contains two values namely ritual piety and social piety. Ritual piety means with sacrifice, we have carried out God's commands that are transceited. Sacrifice is said to be a social piety because in addition to being a religious ritual, sacrifice also has a humanitarian dimension.
Ramsyah says sacrificial worship must be interpreted, not just ceremonial slaughter of sacrificial animals, but can also increase our solidarity and social sensitivity to others.
