Art Awd 2024: Prev Raih Rent
The East Kalimantan Provincial Government carved a brilliant achievement at the end of 2024 by winning the Bhumandala Rajata (Silver) award in the Bhumandala Award 2024. This award was given as a recognition of the performance of the Best Geospatial Information Network (IG), indicating East Kalimantan as one of the superior provinces in the use of geospatial technology.
Official (PJ) of the Governor of East Kalimantan, Akmal Malik, received this award at the Grand Studio Metro TV Jakarta. This year, East Kalimantan managed to rise after previously winning a bronze award, marking significant progress in the management of geospatial information.
Bhumandala Award 2024 organized by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG), with 37 award recipients from various categories, including 7 ministries/institutions, 10 provinces, 10 districts, and 10 best cities. This award is a concrete proof that East Kalimantan is considered superior in developing and implementing geospatial technology to support development.
This success is inseparable from the hard work of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, as the Trustees of Geospatial Data, as well as collaboration with the East Kalimantan Diskominfo, who acts as the sectoral statistical and geospatial Walidata of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. Synergy between various parties has produced proud achievements, encouraging East Kalimantan to continue to innovate in the development of geospatial technology.
This award is a motivation for the East Kalimantan Provincial Government to continue to innovate in the use of more sophisticated geospatial information technology to improve the quality of public services and support sustainable development.
