TVRI Kaltim Public Dialogue Focuses on East Kalimantan Development 2024
Samarinda, (03/05/2023) Head of the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Yusliando, was a resource person in the Public Dialogue with the theme Focus on East Kalimantan Development 2024 which was broadcast live on TVRI Kaltim.< /p>

Starting the public dialogue with presenter Erwinsyah from TVRI Kaltim, Mr Yusliando began his delivery by thanking all development stakeholders in East Kalimantan who had participated in the process of preparing the Regional Development Plan Document (RPD ) and also the Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD) for 2024 starting from the Public Consultation to the recent Provincial Musrenbang.

In addition, it was stated that the theme of East Kalimantan's development in 2024 is Increasing the Competitiveness of Human Resources and Reliable Regional Infrastructure to Accelerate Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation. This has been synchronized with the Development Plan Document at the National Level and received input from the Ministry of Home Affairs and Bappenas regarding this synchronization.

Furthermore, there is a focus on the development of East Kalimantan, reflected through 8 development priorities, namely: Increasing the competitiveness of human resources which encourages employment; Increasing the level of public health; Strengthening economic transformation efforts through vertical and horizontal diversification in leading sectors; Strengthening infrastructure to support economic development and basic services; Improving the quality of life of the poor; Continuous improvement of environmental quality; Improving professional and accountable regional government governance; and increasing regional readiness as IKN partners by optimizing cooperation.

In the public dialogue there were also 2 other speakers present who provided input and responses from various points of view, including the Deputy Chair of the East Kalimantan DPRD, Mr. M. Samsun and a Development Economics Observer from Mulawarman University , Mr. Rian Hilmawan.
