TVRI Dialogue with the theme of Dissecting the Draft Law on National Capital (RUU IKN)
Thursday, 01/20/2022. Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Aswin MM attended and was a resource person in the Public Dialogue on Law and State Administration Policy which was held in collaboration with TVRI East Kalimantan and the Faculty of Law, Mulawarman University.
This dialogue is intended to provide information, education, criticism and problem solving on the themes and/or legal issues discussed. The dialogue was held at the TVRI East Kalimantan Studio with host I Made Kertayasa. raised the topic "Dissecting the IKN Bill".
In the dialogue, Prof. Aswin delivered his response regarding the Draft Law on National Capital (RUU IKN) which has been officially passed into law (UU) at the DPR RI plenary meeting, Tuesday (18/1/2022).
"The East Kalimantan Provincial Government agrees and is very happy with the enactment of the National Capital Bill into law, because it will have a positive impact on economic growth and equality in East Kalimantan and Indonesia in general." said the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda.
It was further stated that the process of drafting the National Capital Bill into Law did not involve the participation of the public, stakeholders and wider stakeholders in providing contributions, input and suggestions.
After the passing of the National Capital Law, what stakeholders and related stakeholders must think about is what must be prepared based on this Law, both regarding the participation and contribution of the legal community The customs there that have not been written down in the Law and those related to land, forestry and mining will be explained further in the regulations regarding IKN.
The dialogue also presented a resource person from academics, Warkhatun Najidah, S.H., M.H (Chair of the Center for Regional Autonomy Studies, Faculty of Law, Mulawarman University).
