The condition of data collection in the housing sector in the regions is that there is minimal funding allocation for data collection in the housing sector by the provincial and district/city governments; Limited human resources for managing data and information in the housing sector in Provinces and Regencies/Cities; Lack of communication and coordination between stakeholders or data sources related to the housing sector and lack of commitment from provincial and district/city governments in providing a comprehensive housing database.

Strategy to increase the role of the PKP Working Group and Forum in carrying out data collection, namely strengthening the capacity of PKP Service staff in data collection, data and information management; Allocation of data collection budget by optimizing coding in the "housing development" program; Carrying out synergy in multi-party data collection in the PKP Working Group and PKP Forum; Organizing regular PKP Data Forums; Developing and increasing the capacity of PKP data collection (support) personnel and organizing data centers and PKP services (shelter clinics) in the regions.
