FGD visits Jica Headquarters with Bappenas, East Kalimantan Bappeda, and related regional apparatuses
Samarinda, (03/10/2024) - Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Yusliando received a delegation visit from the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of PPN/Bappenas) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Headquarters who held a Group Discussion Forum (FGD) together with regional apparatus related to the East Kalimantan Provincial Government which was held at Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Thursday (3/10).
In his remarks he said that in the discussion as a letter delivered by Bappenas to Bappeda East Kalimantan, that the delegation of the Consultant Team from the JICA Head Office and Bappenas were present again to deepen the data and information in order to prepare project designs and formulation of development plans The Capital City of Nusantara (IKN), Balikpapan City, and Samarinda City based on preliminary studies that have been done previously, through technical cooperation (technical cooperation) entitled "Project for Development Master Plan in East Kalimantan".
Furthermore, it is hoped that the technical planning of the development of three cities compiled is directed to be able to minimize the development gaps that arise in line with the construction of the Capital City of the Archipelago on the surrounding area, especially Samarinda and Balikpapan in the future.
In addition, technical planning supported by JICA and Bappenas is expected to become a "bridge" of collaboration and coordination between the central government, the provincial government and the city government in preparing the planning of the development of three cities supported by all parties until the implementation stage .
