FGD Preparation for Inventory Activities of Gambur Ecosystem Characteristics
Wednesday, 03/30/2022. In order to accelerate determining the function of the Peat ecosystem at a scale of 1:50,000, the Ministry of the Environment together with GIZ PROPEAT carried out an FGD Preparation for the Inventory of Peat Ecosystem Characteristics Activities.
This activity was opened by the Head of the Sub-Directorate for Peat Ecosystem Damage Control Planning, Mrs. Fitri Harwati, S.Si and was attended by elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government, Districts at the survey location, Villages and Villages at the survey location, Companies, and implementing parties.
Mrs. Fitri said that this activity was carried out by PT. Bumi Hijau Serasi with activities to inventory the characteristics of peat ecosystems in Peat Hydrological Units (KHG)
The inventory aims to obtain peat ecosystem characteristics data (scale 1:50,000) in 14 areas located in 4 KHGs in North Kalimantan Province, as well as data from an inventory of peat ecosystem characteristics (1:50,000 scale) in 14 KHGs (Non-Concession + concession) located in East Kalimantan Province.
