East Kalimantan Province Communication and Information Service Regional Apparatus Forum

Monday, 03/28/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province was present and was a resource person in the Regional Apparatus Forum which was carried out by the East Kalimantan Province Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) online and offline in Bontang City.

"The Regional Apparatus Forum which is currently being held is one of the stages of regional development planning as stated in Permendagri Number 86 of 2017 concerning Procedures for Planning, Controlling and Evaluation of Regional Development, Procedures for Evaluation of Ranperda," said Mr. Sukandar, S.Sos as the resource person representing the Head of Bappeda Kaltim.

It was further stated that the essence of the output from this forum is an agreement between stakeholders and the Head of Regional Apparatus in sharpening Programs and Activities within the Provincial Diskominfo environment. East Kalimantan as stated in the minutes of the forum agreement for the formulation of the final design and determination of the Strategic Plan and Regional Apparatus Work Plan.

The forum, which was held in the context of coordinating the Informatics, Statistics and Encryption Communication Sector throughout East Kalimantan in 2022 and carried the theme "Realizing Digital Government in East Kalimantan Towards One Data" was opened directly by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Communications and Information Service, H. Muhammad Faisal, S.Sos., M.Sc.

"In this Regional Apparatus Forum, let us support development together, both physical development in the form of infrastructure including networks to support smart cities, smart government, and digital transformation to support the movement of IKN to East Kalimantan Province," said the Head of the East Kalimantan Communications and Information Office in front of the meeting participants present.

Furthermore, to realize a Smart City it needs to be supported by 2 pillars which form 1 unit, namely the Electronic Based Government System (SPBE) or better known as E-Government and One Data. "We hope that these two pillars can move together to create a Smart City," he explained.

Other speakers were also present at this Regional Apparatus Forum, namely elements from the Republic of Indonesia's PAN RB Ministry who were present at the venue and elements from the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Information who were present online.
