East Kalimantan Tullance in 1444 Hijri
Samarinda, (05/04/2023). Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Head of General Section, Mr. Syarifuddin A, S. Sos attended the East Kalimantan event organized by the East Kalimantan National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) at the East Kalimantan Governor's Office of the Governor's Office.

In the event, the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan handed over zakat to the East Kalimantan Baznas and followed by elements of vertical agencies, government officials, BUMD, and companies in the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

In his remarks and direction, the Governor of East Kalimantan appealed to all elements of stakeholders present to be able to zakat through Baznas which is the official institution to collect and channel zakat.

Furthermore, the Chairman of the East Kalimantan BAZNAS, Mr. H. Ahmad Nabhan said that the collection of zakat, infaq, and alms funds was more than Rp 8.7 billion in 2022, where there was an increase of Rp 1.9 billion more when compared to revenue in 2021 which was only Rp 6.8 billion.
