The work visit of the Governor of East Kalimantan in Kutai Kartanegara Regency

Kutai Kartanegara, June 10, 2021 . The Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan and his entourage consisting of regional apparatus in the Province of East Kalimantan and related stakeholders and the National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) departed from the East Kalimantan Governor's Office in order to carry out work visits to visit Kutai Kartanegara Regency which aims to see the development of development in several sectors, especially the livestock, plantation, agriculture and infrastructure conditions. On this occasion, the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda was also present to accompany the governor's work visit activities.

The location aimed at the work visit of the Governor of East Kalimantan in Kutai Kartanegara Regency is the location of Mini Ranch Jayatama in Jonggon Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This Mini Ranch is a farm location managed by the fostered farmer group PT. Multi Harapan Utama (PT. MHU) and PT. Bramasta. At this location, the Governor of East Kalimantan conducted an audience and dialogue between the Governor, the Regency Government represented by the Regional Secretary of Kutai Kartanegara, Head of the Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Office of East Kalimantan Province, the Head of PT. MHU / PT. Bramasta Sakti and Jonggon Village Head and local breeder group.

In the audience, it is noted that several important points including representatives of the local breeder group said that the progress of the cattle farm that has reached around 300 cows in a period of 2 (two) years. For optimization and effectiveness of cattle farms, the breeder group proposes the existence of tools for processing livestock feed because it is still deemed less available optimally. Responding to the proposal of the breeder group, the Governor of East Kalimantan welcomed the proposal and instructed the related regional apparatus (Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Office of East Kalimantan Province) to record the proposal to be followed up.

Furthermore, the work visit of the Governor of East Kalimantan in Kutai Kartanegara Regency was followed by a review, giving of livestock vaccines, and artificial insemination in livestock, then the Governor of East Kalimantan and his entourage continued the agenda of the visit to West Kutai Regency.
