Assistance Activities for the Preparation of Bangga Kencana Program Planning into Regional Development Planning Documents (RPJMD/Renstrada/RKPD/Renja)
Head of the Planning and Funding sub-sector, Mr. Alfino Rinaldi Arief, ST, ME, representing the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, was a resource person in the mentoring activity for the preparation of the Bangga Kencana Program Planning into the Regional Development Planning Document (RPJMD/Renstrada /RKPD/Renja) at the Haris Samarinda hotel.

Opened by the Acting Head of the East Kalimantan BKKBN Representative Hj. Karlina, S.Sos, this activity was attended by the East Kalimantan Province DKP3A, Regency/City DKP3A, and representatives of the East Kalimantan Province BKKBN.

As a strategic step to ensure that the Bangga Kencana program is implemented well by the regional government, BKKBN provides assistance in preparing program planning. This activity aims to integrate various policies, issues and indicators of Bangga Kencana into the Regional Development Plan document.

Integrating the Bangga Kencana Indicator into Regional Development plans is one dimension of population-oriented development. Population-oriented development emphasizes planning from below (bottom up planning) and involving the community in the planning process so that it leads to improving the welfare of the population.

In his presentation, Mr. Alfino explained that regional development planning was carried out using political, technocratic, participatory, bottom-up and top-down approaches. Regions in accordance with their authority prepare regional development plans as one unit in the National Development planning system.

Mr Alfino said the Bangga Kencana program must be implemented in an integrated manner using a cross-sectoral approach, both from the government, private sector and community participation/initiatives so that the program is implemented well.
