The Head of Bappeda Becomes a Resource Person for the Regional Apparatus Forum in the Field of Public Works and Public Housing
Samarinda, (28/12/2020). Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM was a resource person in the Regional Apparatus Forum Activities in the Field of Public Works and Public Housing which was held online via the zoom meeting application.
In his presentation Aswin said that the Regional Apparatus Forum has a very important role in the planning process, namely as a synchronization space for formulate and synergize programs and activities between regional apparatus in provinces and districts/cities, so that we need to guard the implementation commitment together.
The provision of infrastructure facilities and infrastructure (especially basic infrastructure) is still the main development issue in East Kalimantan, where the achievement of infrastructure development will have a major influence on efforts to achieve overall regional development goals.
Regarding infrastructure, Aswin conveyed that the challenge for East Kalimantan as the National Capital (IKN) is the acceleration of development and equitable distribution infrastructure as well as fulfilling basic infrastructure needs and connectivity from - to IKN.
Aswin emphasized the importance of harmony in the implementation of programs/activities in the infrastructure sector, both between provincial and district/city governments as well as across/between regional agencies, so that development achievements are not only oriented towards output (output), but also at the level of results (outcome) and impact (impact).
