Keynote Speakers Public Discussion with the Theme of Romance and Harmonization of Ethnicities in East Kalimantan
Monday, 02/14/2022. Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Aswin MM representing the Governor of East Kalimantan was present and was a resource person at the public dialogue with the theme Romance and Harmonization of Tribes in East Kalimantan, which was held at the Grand Ballroom of the Aston Hotel Samarinda.
This public dialogue is a series of activities of the East Kalimantan Community Grand Pledge (Rakat Kaltim), as well as the Inauguration of the General Chair and Management of the East Kalimantan Kutai Resurrection Army (LKK), which presents several representatives of ethnic groups in East Kalimantan as resource persons include the Sultanate of Kutai Kartanegara Ing Martadipura, the Sultanate of Paser, the Bugis, Dayak, Banjar, Madura, Javanese, as well as youth figures and history activists East Kalimantan.
Prof. Aswin said that this discussion was very useful in building the values of harmony, unity and oneness in East Kalimantan, and was a concrete manifestation that East Kalimantan is a safe and peaceful province. This was also one of the reasons why the President of the Republic of Indonesia chose East Kalimantan Province to be the location for the new state capital (IKN) of the Republic of Indonesia, which was later named the Capital of "Nusantara".
He also conveyed to all participants present to further strengthen unity and oneness and not emphasize their respective regional egos by prioritizing mutual respect, appreciation and tolerance. The entire people of East Kalimantan must participate in welcoming the "Nusantara" IKN in East Kalimantan by increasing their abilities in their respective fields and professions, becoming superior and competitive, productive and visionary people in facing the challenges that will come.
