Early Draft Consultation of the East Kutai Regency RPJMD 2021-2026

In accordance with the Mandate of Permendagri Number 86 of 2017 concerning Procedures for Planning, Control and Evaluation of Regional Development, Procedures for Evaluating Regional Regulations on Regional Long -Term Development Plans and Regional Medium -Term Development Plans, as well as Procedures for Changes to Regional Long -Term Development Plans, Term Development Plans Regional Medium, and Regional Government Work Plan, East Kutai Regency carried out "Initial Consultation of the East Kutai Regency RPJMD Draft in 2021-2026".

This activity was attended by all regional apparatus in the scope of East Kutai Regency and the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan represented by Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province. This activity was officially opened by Plt. Head of East Kutai Regency Bappeda.

Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM in his remarks at the same time gave direction so that development policies in East Kutai Regency were aligned with development policies at the provincial level as outlined in the P-RPJMD of East Kalimantan Province and changes in the Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan.

To realize synergized development between provinces and districts, specifically the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda provides direction so that all fields of planners in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda can pay special attention and input so that the Regency RPJMD East Kutai that is being compiled can be in harmony with the RPJMD and Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan at the East Kalimantan Province level, "I hope that my friends in East Kalimantan Bappeda can provide input and suggestions so , regional development policy, so there is a synergy between the development of the province and district "he said.

Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province also emphasized related to basic services, in accordance with the mandate of Law No. 23 of 2014 which mandates that the region must prioritize its shopping for the implementation of mandatory government affairs related to basic services. Basic services are translated as public services to meet the basic needs of Indonesian citizens to live properly.

Next Acting Head of East Kutai Bappeda, Ir. Supriyanto conveyed the development priorities of East Kutai Regency, namely in the fields of health, social and population, animal husbandry, agriculture, and fishermen, tourism and culture.

the vision of East Kutai Regency in the initial draft of the East Kutai Regency RPJMD in 2021-2026 is "Arranging East Kutai Prosperous for All", with 5 mission ; Realizing the economic competitiveness of the agricultural sector based on the agricultural sector; Realize basic services for the community proportionally and equitably; Creating a participatory government based on law enforcement and information technology; as well as realizing the synergy of regional development and the integration of environmentally friendly development. While the direction of spending policy will be more focused on capital expenditure considering that HDI is still far behind, connectivity between sub -districts still needs special handling, for that capital expenditure is considered very important in order to increase HDI.
