It is hoped that the plan to move the capital city to the East Kalimantan region will not result in a high cost index, this was stated by BRIN political research coordinator Mr. Sofyan Rozi when starting the discussion. One of the causes is that the transportation system is still relatively expensive, affecting the selling value of goods in the new IKN area and the surrounding area.
-
Furthermore, he also said that regarding moving the capital, many things need to be considered, not only about the infrastructure but also how to build a social system. Apart from that, Mr. Sofyan also said that the provision of clean water must be considered around IKN as well as residences close to office areas, this is aimed at avoiding traffic jams like in Jakarta.

There are several issues in academic studies, namely the IKN funding scheme based on Development Stages, Employment Strategy, Trade and Business Empowerment and Green City. Which will later be an academic policy text based on this research.
