In the context of preparing the RKPD for East Kutai Regency in 2023, the East Kutai Regency Government held a Development Planning Conference (Musrenbang) for East Kutai Regency virtually and directly in the Meranti Meeting Room, Bukit Pelangi Sangatta Utara Office, East Kutai Regency, Thursday (07/04/2022).

The Musrenbang with the theme "Development of Economic Centers Supported by Quality Public Services" was opened by Plt. Regent of East Kutai Regency Drs. H. Ardiansyah Sulaiman, M.Sc.. and attended by 145 participants virtually and directly from elements of Regional Apparatus within the East Kutai Regency Government, East Kutai Regency DPRD, private representatives, regional companies, organizations and community leaders, as well as NGOs.

Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Head of Regional Development Planning, Control and Evaluation, Hj. Rina Juliaty, S.Si,. M.Si was present and was a resource person to provide an explanation of the Direction and Policy for the Development of East Kalimantan Province in 2023. In his direction, it was hoped that East Kutai Regency would prepare a draft Regency/City RKPD for 2023 in accordance with the provisions, stages and procedures stipulated in Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017 by aligning development priorities as stated in the Draft RKPD of East Kalimantan Province for 2023

The alignment of development priorities in question contains the substance of aligning development themes and priorities, aligning regional development macro indicator targets, as well as aligning the direction of district/city regional development policies. For your information, the preparation of regional development priorities in the 2023 East Kalimantan Province RKPD Draft was carried out by taking into account the 2023 Initial Government Work Plan (RKP), the results of the 2022 Provincial Coordination Meeting. Further discussions regarding regional development priorities as intended, will be carried out at the 2023 East Kalimantan Province RKPD Musrenbang forum which is planned to be held on April 20 2022.
