Scientific Oration The role of universities in East Kalimantan in the preparation of IKN
Wednesday, 19/01/2022. Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Aswin MM representing the Governor of East Kalimantan attending the scientific speech of the role of Higher Education in East Kalimantan Preparation for IKN in the Kalimantan Universities Consortium (KUK) Working Meeting as a guest speaker.
Prof. Aswin said that the East Kalimantan government is committed to supporting the transfer of state capitals because it will encourage the implementation of economic transformation which is still based on primary products and non -renewable resources, especially oil and gas and coal as well as oil and gas -based processing industries.
in the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan RPJMD which has a vision of "Brave for Sovereign East Kalimantan" has contained policies and programs to support the transformation, one of which is the development of human resources with the main activity of giving complete Kaltim scholarships.
It is hoped that human resources and universities in Kalimantan can further improve their quality and play an active role in the framework of development and development of IKN.
