Talent Management Training "Building a Great Team Through Good Talent Management"

Samarinda (06/11/2023), East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Secretariat Division actively participated in the Talent Management Training organized by the East Kalimantan Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD). The event lasts for two days, starting from 6 to 7 November 2023.


This training event was officially opened by Mr. Sudarwanto, Head of State Civil Apparatus Development Division from BKD East Kalimantan.
As representatives of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, this training was attended by Mrs. Misbahul Jannah, S.Sos, Level 1 Regulator, Personnel Administrator and Mrs. Retno Sulistiyo, S.Sos. Level 1 Regulator, Personnel Administrator

In this training, Mr. Arif Zulkarnain and Mrs. Vanda Rossdiana from People Development Consulting were the main speakers, providing useful insights regarding talent management. The aim of this training is to meet talent management indicators in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PermenPANRB) No.3/2020 concerning Talent Management for State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

Talent management is a system that allows ASNs to manage themselves, both as individuals and as leaders responsible for their teams. This aims to ensure that every ASN can become a talented (talented) individual with competencies that support improving their performance, while making a positive contribution to the organization.

Some of the expected outputs from this training include:

1. In-depth knowledge of the regulations governing the talent management system within the scope of ASN based on PermenPANRB No.3/2020 concerning ASN Talent Management.
2. Ability to manage subordinate performance, change behavior that is considered unsupportive of performance to be supportive, and manage motivation.
3. Understanding of the 9 talent management boxes contained in PermenPANRB.

Indicators of success for ASN leaders in managing talent management include:

1. Able to map team members who have potential (talented) and those who do not yet have potential.
2. Understand the strategies and actions required to manage them effectively.
3. Able to maintain and motivate team members to continue to contribute optimally.

Training participants are expected to be able to apply the knowledge and skills gained during this event to improve talent management within their ASN scope, as well as encourage organizational growth and progress.
