Monitoring and evaluation of TPB/SDGs 2024 achievements as a momentum for the achievement of TPB/SDGs in East Kalimantan
The East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the East Kalimantan Bappeda held a Monitoring and Evaluation of the TPB/SDGs of East Kalimantan Province in 2024 at the Novotel Hotel Balikpapan, Thursday (5/12).
Monitor and evaluate the achievement of 17 Sustainable Development Objectives (TPB/SDGs) in East Kalimantan. In the committee report submitted by the Head of Economy and SDA Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Wahyu Gatut Purboyo, explained that this activity would discuss the development of the implementation of SDGs in East Kalimantan, the importance of reporting SDGs, TPB/SDGs. Furthermore, he explained that the output of this activity was the result of monitoring and evaluating the achievements of the TPB/SDGs to be reported by the Governor of East Kalimantan to the Minister of PPN/Head of Bappenas and the Minister of the Interior. It is also expected that all stakeholders can actively participate in filling out the TPB/SDGs Monitoring and Evaluation Application that has been developed by the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.
As for the discussion session moderated by Masayu Widiastuti (Secretary of the IKN Study Center and SDGs University of Mulawarman) presented a number of speakers to discuss various important aspects related to the implementation of TPB/SDGs. Diky Avianto from the National Secretariat SDGs explained about the development of the implementation of SDGs in the regions and the urgency of Monev SDGs reporting. Dr. Yusniar Juliana SST, MIDEC, Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of East Kalimantan Province, explained the role of data in accelerating TPB/SDGs achievements in this province. In addition, the event also featured good practices (best practices) from companies in East Kalimantan in supporting the achievement of TPB/SDGs.
Muslim Gunawan from PT. Multi Harapan Utama and Anggono Wijaya from PT. East Kalimantan fertilizer shares their company's experience in the implementation of social and environmental responsibility programs. Dedy Cahyadi, M.Eng from Mulawarman University, gave input regarding the achievements of TPB/SDGs indicators at the provincial and district/city level in 2024 through the Monev SDGs dashboard. This event is expected to strengthen the commitment and collaboration of all parties in realizing sustainable development in East Kalimantan.
