Discussion of Draft Joint Agreement (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and Giz
Samarinda, (09/22/2023). Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Head of Economy and Natural Resources, Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo accompanied by the Head of the Regional Secretariat of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Prov, Mrs. Hj. Suparmi together with representatives of elements of related regional apparatuses within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government consisting of elements of the ESDM Office, Environmental Service, Government Bureau, Border, and Regional Autonomy and the Economic Bureau carried out the discussion of the Draft Agreement (MoU) and the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan and Deutsche Gesellschaft Mr. Ade Cahyat as the Implementation Manager for the implementation of the Innovation Regional Technical Cooperation Project for Fair Energy Transition (IKI JET).

The MoU between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the Governor of East Kalimantan and Giz which is an international company owned by the German Federal Government that focuses on sustainable development and coordinates the consortium of partners in the implementation of the technical cooperation project of the innovation for the transition of equitable energy (iki jet). Collaborate to support a fair green transformation in East Kalimantan Province.

To note, the scope of the MoU compiled is the strengthening of the capacity of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and other stakeholders in planning the participatory economic transformation and the development of green business activities in the framework of mitigation of national and global coal transition policies.
