Submission of the Final Draft RKPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2022

Samarinda, June 7, 2021, 09.00 WITA . The Provincial Government of East Kalimantan through the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda held "Final Draft RKPD Draft of East Kalimantan Province in 2022" which took place in the Ruhui Rahayu meeting room of the East Kalimantan Governor's Office and was run through the Virtual Meeting (online). The implementation of this activity is in accordance with the mandate of Permendagri Number 86 of 2017 concerning Procedures for Planning, Control and Evaluation of Regional Development, Procedures for Evaluating Regional Regulations on Regional Long -Term Development Plans and Regional Medium -Term Development Plans, as well as Procedures for Changes to the Long -Term Development Plan , Regional Medium -Term Development Plan, and Regional Government Work Plan.

RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2022 is the fourth year of implementation in the 2019-2023 RPJMD period which carries the theme "Structural Reform and Strengthening Regional Competitiveness in order to welcome the Capital of the State".

This activity was attended by all regional apparatuses in the scope of the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan, and Regency/City Government in East Kalimantan. This activity was officially opened by the Regional Secretary of the Province of East Kalimantan, then continued with the delivery of material by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM. In his presentation the Head of Bappeda Province of East Kalimantan said that East Kalimantan still faced a number of major problems in development in the East Kalimantan region, namely the high inequality of HR competitiveness; Welfare has not been realized fairly & evenly; Slow economic transformation towards sustainable natural resource management; Not yet optimal equity and development of basic infrastructure services; Increased risk of decreased environmental quality; and governance has not yet produced public services and policies oriented to community sovereignty.

Talking about the development of the district/city area, the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda conveyed several strategies and direction of the policy including strengthening connectivity between regions and economic areas and equitable range of transportation infrastructure services, telecommunications, integrated energy and water resources throughout the region; Increase in added value and competitiveness of regional superior commodity products; Improving the quality of environmental management and controlling the development of aquaculture activities so as not to exceed the carrying capacity and capacity of the environment; and optimization of regional income sources.

To support the achievement of goals, objectives, strategies, and policy directions that have been determined in the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province in 2022, 392 programs have been prepared, 1,279 activities and 3,598 sub-activities, which requires a total spending of +Rp. 11,043 trillion. Where the amount includes salary & TPP, assumptions of DAK, DID, DBH-DR, BLUD, BTT, part of grants, and capital participation.
