Preparation for Implementation and Formation of the 2022 District/City PPD Assessment Team

In order to improve the quality of planning and achieve development better, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas will implement the 2022 Regional Development Awards (PPD), both at the Provincial and Regency/City Levels.

In implementing Regency/City PPD, Bappenas gives authority to Provincial Bappeda to coordinate and form a Regency/Municipal PPD Assessment Team consisting of an Independent Assessment Team (from Universities), the Related Provincial Regional Apparatus Team, and the Provincial Bappeda Team.

In connection with this, the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda held a joint coordination meeting with the Independent Assessment Team and related Provincial Apparatus to discuss preparations for the implementation and formation of the 2022 District/City PPD Assessment Team, on Tuesday (08/02/2022).

The meeting which was held at the East Kalimantan Bappeda office was chaired directly by the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM.

"The Assessment Team consisting of an Independent Team from Universities, relevant Provincial Apparatus and the East Kalimantan Bappeda Team, please pay attention to the provisions set by Bappenas at each stage of the assessment carried out," said Aswin giving directions to the PPD Assessment Team present.

For your information, the 2022 District/City PPD stage is divided into 2 stages, where stage 1 is the District/City Document Collection stage and stage 2 is the interview and determining the best nominees. The difference from the previous year lies in stage 2 (interview), where previously it was delivered by the head of Bappeda, whereas in 2022 it will be delivered by the Regent/Mayor. Therefore, it is hoped that the District/City can prepare and carry out this as expected.

Then in terms of assessing the 2022 District/City PPD, it is generally divided into 2 assessment categories, namely Assessment of District/City RKPD Documents and Innovation Documents (with a value weight of 45%) and Verification/Interview (with a value weight of 55%).

"Hopefully the best District/City in East Kalimantan in the District/City PPD will later be able to be National Ranked in the 2022 Regional Development Awards," said the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda.

In accordance with the agenda that has been prepared by the assessment team, after the stage of collecting District/City documents which has been carried out from 31 January to 6 February 2022, the Assessment Team will verify the documents submitted, then determine which District/City will be the nominee and can proceed to the next stage on Friday, 11 February 2022.
