The purpose of the change in Paser Regency RKPD is to adjust the development of the regional economic framework and the frame of funding to the latest conditions; provide legal basis for changes to targets, program plans and activities of activities; as well as a guideline in carrying out regional apparatus in 2021
Paser Regency development performance achievements in macro indicators have decreased such as economic growth decreased by -2.77%, poverty rates in 2020 experienced an increase to 9.23%which was originally 8.95%, the human development index in 2020 experienced a decrease to 72.04%.
The theme of the Paser Regency RKPD in 2021 is "Strengthening the welfare of the community through empowering sustainable economic potential". With development priorities including strengthening the quality of infrastructure to encourage the pace of community economic activity; strengthening of populist economic development based on local resources and protection against the carrying capacity of the environment; Increased Human Development Index (HDI) and Increased HR Apparatus.
There are several input and suggestions for improvement of RKPD documents from regional apparatus in the East Kalimantan Province and the field of Bappeda East Kalimantan.
