Regional Geospatial Information Network Integration Meeting (JIGD) of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Balikpapan City Government
Tuesday, 01/18/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, through the Data and Information Analysis Sub-Sector, is carrying out coordination meetings for the Regional Geospatial Information Network (JIGD) with the Balikpapan City Government represented by Diskominfo and Balikpapan City Bappeda.
This meeting is based on East Kalimantan Governor Regulation Number 27 of 2017 concerning the implementation of JIGD in East Kalimantan Province.
Mr Hamsani ST, M.Si (Head of Data and Information Analysis Subdivision) said that this meeting was intended to accelerate the integration of the JIGD which had been built by the Balikpapan City Government with the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.
Until 2021, there are 2 (two) regions that have been integrated with the JIGD of East Kalimantan Province, including Kutai Kartanegara Regency and East Kutai.
There are several areas that do not yet have a Geoportal and cannot be integrated with the Provincial JIGD to date, including Paser Regency, North Penajam Paser, West Kutai and Mahulu.
This meeting closed with the signing of minutes of agreement on the JIGD integration process between East Kalimantan Province and the Balikpapan City Government.
The plan is to continue a similar agenda with the Bontang City Government and the Berau Regency Government so that the expected JIGD integration process can be developed quickly.
