Internal Meeting and Socialization of Risk Management Preparation Plans (MR) and Control Action Plans (RTP) within the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Environment

Today (29/01/2024), East Kalimantan Province Bappeda held an internal meeting that focused on two main agendas, namely the signing of the performance agreement, the submission of performance rewards in 2023, and the socialization of the Risk Management Plan and the Control Plan (RTP).

The meeting was chaired by the Head of East Kalimantan Bappeda, Mr. Yusliando and was also attended by the Secretary, Head of Division, Head of Public Subdivision, Head of Subdivision of Programs, Functional Planning/Team Leaders of the Planning Division, and PNS Staff Bappeda Province of East Kalimantan Province.

In the first agenda, the meeting discusses the allocation of East Kalimantan Bappeda funds for 2024 and is encouraged to be improved if needed and evaluation to increase budget absorption. Not only that, the event continued with the signing of a ceremonial structural position performance agreement. The climax, the provision of rewards to appreciate the performance of the fields and PPTK with the best budget absorption in 2023.

As for the field with the best budget absorption performance in 2023, namely the field of government and human development (PPM) followed by the area of ​​regional infrastructure (infaswil). Meanwhile, PPTK with the best absorption, Muhammad Hamsani, ST, M.Sc, followed by Stella Felicia Sinaga, S.Si., Murbplandes and Perdana Jati Leksono, ST, M.Eng.

Furthermore, the second agenda focuses on the socialization of the preparation of Risk Management and Meeting Socialization of Risk Management Preparation (RTP) with the resource person in East Kalimantan Province, CA., Ca., CACP, CRMP, CRGP as Coordinator of Supervision of Regional Government Accountability, BKP (Taxable Goods) Risk in the scope of the local government.

Furthermore, the second agenda is planted with discussions involving important aspects, including development or improvement of the control environment in risk management, risk management systems and implementing risk assessment elements, control activities, and information and communication in monitoring the risk management process.

There are three risk owners including, the Risk Owner Unit of the Regional Government Level, Echelon II Risk Owner Unit, Echelon III and IV Risk Owner Unit

The Risk Owner Unit has the responsibility of developing strategies, work plans, identification, analysis, handling activities, and risk monitoring, and ensuring the risk management process is going well. The process involves five stages, ranging from identification of the weakness of the control environment to continuous monitoring.

Meanwhile, based on East Kalimantan Regulation No. 70/2020, it is necessary to form a Risk Management Committee which is written in it that the Governor as Chair, Head of Bappeda or Similar OPD as Coordinator concurrently Members and Heads of Office or other OPD as members.

The Risk Management Committee is tasked with conducting risk management in the scope of the government, socialization, guidance, supervision and training as well as making quarterly and annual reports of risk management submitted to the Governor and also the Regional Secretary.

It is expected that these two agendas can increase the effectiveness of performance in the scope of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province and improve future management and risk control.
