2022 Poverty Data Consolidation Meeting
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province held a 2022 Poverty Data Consolidation Meeting together with related Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Wednesday (19/10/2022).

Plt. Head of Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan, Mr. Yusliando accompanied by the Head of Government and Human Development, Mrs. Nani Nuraini led the Poverty Data Coordination Meeting which was attended by relevant stakeholders within the Province. East Kalimantan which consists of elements from BPS, BKKBN, Social Services, Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Services, and the East Kalimantan Diskominfo.

The meeting was held to address and agree on differences in poverty data issued by several related agencies. This is a follow-up to the District/City Poverty Consolidation Meeting which was held in Balikpapan on 6-7 October 2022.

"In this consolidation meeting, we will discuss approaches and indicators related to poverty rates based on the Instruction of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Number 4 of 2022 concerning Accelerating the Elimination of Extreme Poverty and Efforts to Accelerate Poverty Reduction in East Kalimantan as well as a follow-up to the "District/City Poverty Consolidation" activity on 6-7 October 2022 in Balikpapan, ", Mr Yus (Plt. Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda) said.

Also present was Assistant II for Economics and Development for the East Kutai Regency Government, Mr. Ir. H. Zubair, MT who shared experiences in handling poverty in East Kutai Regency.

The follow-up to this poverty data coordination meeting is that a Joint Team will soon be formed to equalize perceptions in poverty approaches and indicators according to data that will be integrated from all related elements so as to produce final data that will be updated regularly and can be implemented in a targeted manner.
