Coordination and Monitoring Meetings Facilitate Consultations on Accelerating Stunting Reduction
In order for synergistic efforts to accelerate stunting reduction to be carried out well, the Government and Human Development Sector of the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan held a Coordination Meeting of the Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS).

Stunting is the occurrence of growth and development that is not appropriate to a child's age. Stunting also has an impact on brain growth and development. Factors that can cause stunting are lack of socialization for prospective brides and grooms, lack of food/nutrition intake, lack of good water sources, lack of adequate housing and not having a toilet. What needs to be considered is changing the mindset of the prospective bride and groom to provide proper nutrition when planning a pregnancy. So it is necessary to coordinate with several related OPDs to deal with stunting.
