2023 INDAGKOP and UKM Coordination Meeting
Balikpapan, (11/05/2023). Head of Economics and Natural Resources, Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo, attended the 2023 INDAKOP and UKM Coordination Meeting as a resource person at the Grand Senyiur Hotel, Balikpapan.

This activity was organized by the Disperindagkop UKM in the context of coordinating and synchronizing the preparation of programs and activities for 2024 in the Industrial, Trade, Cooperative and SME Sectors throughout East Kalimantan.

It is hoped that the East Kalimantan Provincial Industry and Trade and SMEs Department's Major Project can be accommodated for the welfare of the people of East Kalimantan, including: Establishment of a Food Station (Distribution Center), Construction of Joint Production Houses, Development of Industrial Areas, Modern Cooperatives and Digital MSMEs.

Meanwhile, Activity Programs in the Province that need to receive support through sharing targets with City districts in the Industrial sector are the Industrial Estate Planning and Development Program, in the trade sector the Export Development Program for sub-activities for developing export business actors and the Price Stabilization Program for basic necessities and important goods, namely price control and information on stock availability of important basic materials.

The Cooperative and SME sector needs to be supported with the MSME Empowerment Program, namely Digital MSME Assistance, Export Potential SMEs, SMEs that receive NIB, SMEs that receive production facilitation, marketing processing, design and technology; Cooperative Empowerment and Protection Program, namely the Establishment of Modern Cooperatives with 2 (two) targets in each Regency/City by empowering PPKL; Collaboration in the supervision of cooperatives in districts/cities needs to be improved.
