Tuesday, 06/21/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province held a Regional Geospatial Information Network Integration meeting together with North Penajam Paser Regency and Samarinda City, at the Swissbell Balikpapan hotel.

This activity was opened by Functional Young Expert Planner Muhammad Hamsani, ST, M.Si and attended by the North Penajam Paser Regency Diskominfo, North Penajam Paser Regency Bappelitbang at the PPU Regency Session, and attended by the North Penajam Paser Regency Diskominfo Samarinda City and Samarinda City Bappelitbang at the Samarinda City session.

By paying attention to Law number 4 of 2011 concerning geospatial information and its derivative regulations, as well as governor's regulation number 41 of 2016 concerning the implementation of one data one map and governor's regulation number 27 of 2017 concerning Networks Regional Geospatial Information for East Kalimantan Province has two agreements, namely first, integration of Regional Geospatial Information (IGD) for East Kalimantan Province with the Information Network Regional Geospatial of North Penajam Paser Regency and IGD of East Kalimantan Province with IGD of Samarinda City. Second, all thematic Geospatial Information published on both the North Penajam Regency Geoportal and the Samarinda City Geoportal is permitted to be accessed and published on the East Kalimantan Province Geoportal.
