Regional Geospatial Information Network Coordination Meeting (JIGD) in East Kalimantan Regency/City
Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Bappeda Province of East Kalimantan held the activities of "Regional Geospatial Information Network Coordination Meeting (JIGD) of Regency/City in East Kalimantan" which was carried out in Balikpapan City. The Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda had the opportunity to open the meeting.
This coordination is carried out as an effort to encourage district/city governments, especially Jigd managers in implementing spatial data on the implementation of development and geoportal use as access to data sharing. As an effort to optimize geospatial data, the provincial government has built the provincial and district/city geospatial information network node for the essence of the one -map policy.
delivered by Mr. Aswin (Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province) in his remarks, currently there are 5 regions (2 cities and 3 districts) that have networks and regional geospatial applications namely Balikpapan, Bontang, East Kutai, Kutai Kartanegara, and Berau. "From the five of them, only two regions have been integrated, namely Kutai Kartanegara and East Kutai, and others are still in the integration stage," he explained.
Mrs. Rina Juliaty as the Head of PPEPD said the results of this coordination were agreements published in the form of Minutes signed together by meeting participants.
