Regional Information Service Center Service Coordination Meeting with East Kalimantan Province Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID).
In order to improve the quality and quality of PPID services, the East Kalimantan Province Regional Secretariat's Welfare Bureau held a Regional Information Service Center Service coordination meeting with the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID)

This activity was attended by the Head of the General Subdivision of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Arbainsyah along with the PPID team, and PPID Officials from the Regional Apparatus of East Kalimantan Province.

Present as a resource person, the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Diskominfo, Mr. H. Muhammad Faisal, S.Sos, M.Si, in his presentation he explained that PPID functions as a manager and transmitter of documents owned by public bodies in accordance with the mandate of Law number 14 of 2008 concerning public information disclosure. With PPID, it is easier for people to submit requests for information.

Mr Faisal said that every Regional Apparatus is obliged to implement PPID because it has a juridical basis, "There is no reason not to implement PPID because the juridical basis is complete starting from the KIP Law, Perki, Perda, Pergub , Governor's Decree, up to the Regional Secretary's Decree," he explained.

The next important point in this meeting is First, strengthening the Information and Documentation Management Officer's (PPID) understanding of the Law. Per KI and existing Regional Regulations regarding KIP; Second, make the PPID portal a door to information managed by all OPDs/agencies: third, carry out monitoring and evaluation (monev) of each implementing or internal PPID/PPID: fourth, carry out the duties and functions of each manager in accordance with the existing Decree: and ensure PPID understands the sanctions imposed by Law no. 14 of 2008.
