National Coordination Meeting (RAKORNAS) for Geospatial Information in 2023
Jakarta, (20/03/2023). Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan was represented by Young Expert Planner Sub. Data and Information Analysis Coordinator Mr. Muhammad Hamsani, ST, M.Si attended the National Geospatial Information Coordination Meeting at the Bidakara Hotel, Jakarta.

The Geospatial Information Coordination Meeting organized by the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) has the theme "Implementation of Geospatial Statistical Integration to Accelerate National Development"

In his direction, the Head of BIG, Mr. Muh Aris Marfai, stated that the use of Geospatial is an important role in policy making, both planning, investment and others. Then Spatial supports the One Data Indonesia policy.

Similarly, the Minister of Bappenas, Mr. Suharso Monoarfa, also stated that the importance of accurate data, both statistical and spatial data, in supporting the preparation of national development planning, he hopes to be able to review geospatial action plans, plans parent and discussing other important national issues.

The results of this coordination are expected to become the basis for the implementation of national IG in ministries/institutions/regional governments and as material in the preparation of the 2025-2045 National Long Term Development Plan.
