National Coordination Meeting on Strategies for Achieving Targets in the Housing, Settlements, Drinking Water and Sanitation Sectors
Samarinda, (12/15/2020). In order to accelerate the achievement of the 2020-2024 RPJMN targets in the Housing, Drinking Water and Sanitation Sector, the formulation of strategies and synergistic activities between the Central and Regional Governments is very necessary, so Bappenas is holding a National Coordination Meeting on Strategies for Achieving Targets in the Housing, Settlements, Drinking Water and Sanitation Sector online via Zoom meeting.
This activity was opened by the Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure of Bappenas, and attended by the Regional Secretary, Provincial Level Bappeda, Dinas Water resources, work creation and provincial level spatial planning throughout Indonesia, National PPAS Working Group Secretariat, National CCMU Team, PMU PPSP Secretariat, World Bank, Kotaku, Kiat and Pasimas.
This coordination meeting aims to confirm regional baseline and target commitments in supporting target achievement RPJMN 2020-2024, Formulate strategies and activities to achieve regional targets according to the 2020-2024 RPJMN indicators, and internalize baseline and targets in the areas of housing, drinking water and sanitation in regional planning documents.
17 provinces in Indonesia have sent provincial housing, drinking water and sanitation targets to Bappenas and the Ministry of Home Affairs. This target is the first step for regions to further map and determine appropriate strategies and programs. The activity program refers to the nomenclature of integrated regional development programs and expenditure contained in Decree of the Minister of Home Affairs 90 of 2019.
From this activity it is hoped that regional participants will be able to develop implementation strategies in the fields of housing, drinking water and sanitation in accordance with policy directions and targets RPJMN.
