Follow-up meeting to discuss the Draft Joint Agreement between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Kutim District, Paser District, Berau District, Kukar District, Kubar District and GIZ
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Economic Sector and Government and Human Development Sector, attended the Follow-up Meeting for Discussion of the Draft Joint Agreement between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, East Kutai Regency, Paser, Berau, Kutai Kartanegara, West Kutai and GIZ, on Tuesday (22/02/2022).
The follow-up meeting discussed the draft joint agreement between the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and the 5 regencies where the peatlands are located, as well as GIZ which has been in process from February 16 2021 to February 7 2022.
From this draft agreement, it is hoped that land use (management) in the East Kalimantan peat and wetland ecosystem can be more ecologically sustainable.
