Discussion Meeting of Validation of the KLHS Document of the Berau Regency RPJMD in 2021 - 2026
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province was represented by the Economy Field Attending online implementation of the Discussion Meeting of the Validation of the Strategic Environmental Study (KLHS) of the Berau Regency RPJMD in 2021 - 2026 organized by the East Kalimantan Province Environment Agency and was also attended by the validators and the environment of the Berau Regency Environment and Cleanliness Office. East Kalimantan Province is the only province that has used the application system (sparkling) in the validation mechanism of the KLHS RPJMD Document in Berau.
The KLHS Document of Berau Regency is prepared to become a support and complement of the Berau Regency RPJMD document so that later it can achieve sustainable development goals and has used metadata indicators edition II. On this occasion, the Berau Regency Government conveyed several strategic issues in several pillars (social, economic, environmental, law and governance) in the objectives of sustainable development in Berau Regency including related to the distribution of the poor, Covid 19, the availability of employment, new renewable energy, market access for business actors, slums, quantity degradation and water quality, climate change, overlapping forest management, waste, and RTRW.
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province provides input for the improvement of Berau Regency KLHS on several matters including the legal basis used, the contribution of non-government partners in achieving development goals, employment health insurance, and examining the determination of several indicators that do not have data in the authority outside the district (center and province).
