Group of East Kalimantan Governor's Working Visit to the Northern Region (Samarinda - Bontang - Kutim - Berau)
Departing from the Governor's Office
On 17 - 24 December 2021, the Secretary and Sector Representatives at Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province accompanied the Governor of East Kalimantan on the agenda of a working visit to the northern region (Samarinda - Bontang - East Kutai - Berau) which was held on 17 - 24 December 2021.
This working visit was also attended by a number of Regional Apparatus and Bureaus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development, IKA Mulawarman University, Representatives of Vertical Agencies (BBPJN, BPDASHL, BKSDA), Bontang City PDAM, Samarinda City Government, Bontang City and East Kutai and Berau Regency Governments (Mayor/Regent and ranks).
This working visit to the northern region also involved several companies as development partners including PT Indominco Mandiri, PT MBS, PT Palma Serasi, PT Etam Bersama Lestari, and PT Berau Coal.
The Governor's working visit this time scheduled visits to a number of locations including a review of the Sungai Karang Mumus School in Muang Village; review of the sections of national roads - provincial roads that are traversed; friendly activities with residents at the Mayor of Bontang's rujab pavilion; review of raw water and tree planting in the city of Bontang; friendly activities with residents and the Kutim district government; inauguration of the UPTD PPI Sangatta office; friendly activities with Kaliorang residents, planting trees, handing over aid and audiences with the Tunas Harapan Jaya farmer group in Kaliorang District; inspection of causeways and piers in the Maloy SEZ area; inspection of wave breakers and mini ranches as well as friendly activities with residents and farmer groups in the Sulaiman Bay area; socializing with residents and launching the Dumaring river park; corn harvest in Talisayan; review of the rehabilitation of the Grand Baitul Hikmah Berau mosque; review of PLTS and Maratua Airport; beach clean activities and several other activities.
The working visiting group departed from the Governor's office starting with a joint prayer.
