Socialization of ASN Neutrality Waves I, II, III within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government
Monday, 03/28/2022. Representatives of the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province attended the Socialization of ASN Neutrality Waves I, II, III, within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government with the theme "Building ASN Neutrality to Realize a Clean and Distinguished Government (Good and Clean Governance)".
The socialization was attended by ASN and contract workers within the provincial government. East Kalimantan. Galeh Akbar Tanjung, S, Sos. as Coordinator of the Provincial Bawaslu Supervision and Relations Division. East Kalimantan became a resource for this socialization.
There are several forms of prohibition on civil servants from providing support to Candidates for President/Vice President, Candidates for Regional Heads/Deputy Regional Heads, Candidates for Members of the People's Representative Council (DPR), Candidates for Members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD), or Candidate Member of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) by:
Following campaign activities; Become a campaign participant using party attributes or civil servant attributes; As a campaign participant by mobilizing other civil servants; As a campaign participant using state facilities; Make decisions and/or actions that are beneficial or detrimental to one of the candidate pairs before, during and after the campaign period; Holding activities that lead to partiality towards Candidate Candidates who are election participants before, during and after the campaign period including meetings, invitations, appeals, appeals or giving goods to civil servants within their work units, family members and the community; and/or; and Provide a letter of support accompanied by a photocopy of your KTP or Resident Identification Certificate.
As stated in Article 494 of Law no. 07 of 2017 concerning "General Elections", every State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Member of the Indonesian National Army (TNI) and National Police of the Republic of Indonesia (POLRI), Village Head, Village Apparatus, and/or Member of the Village Consultative Body who violates the prohibition as stated in referred to in Article 280 paragraph (3) shall be punished with a maximum imprisonment of 1 (one) year and a maximum fine of IDR 12,000,000.00 (twelve million rupiah).
