The FGD Valtification Valtation of the Bhumada Awal 2020 Award
Samarinda, (21/10/2020). In the framework of the 2020 Bhumandala Award Network Node award, the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG) conducted final verification for East Kalimantan Province in the form of an online Focus Group Discussion (FGD) via the Zoom meeting application.
Bhumandala Award is a form of BIG's appreciation for network nodes with the aim of motivating, inspiring, strengthening and increasing the enthusiasm of ministries/institutions and regional apparatus in building geospatial information so that it continues to be developed sustainably towards optimal network nodes.
At this final verification stage, the assessment includes Verification of the Conformity of Form Fillings, Presentation of Network Nodes and Discussions, and Presentation of Facilities and Infrastructure
East Kalimantan in 2020 was included in the top six nominees for the 2020 Bhumanadala Award for the Best Provincial Network Node category. Explained by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Prof. DR. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM in his presentation at this FGD, East Kalimantan Province has a Regional Geospatial Information Network with the name One Data One Map, where this system aims to create one accurate and centralized thematic geospatial database and information to support the implementation of regional development.
The targets are the availability of geospatial data and thematic geospatial information, the integration of geospatial data and thematic geospatial information, the availability of sharing facilities, and the optimization of the use of geospatial data and thematic geospatial information.
With the widespread use of One Data One Map to support development implementation and its integration with the Geospatial Information Network in two districts (Kutai Kartanegara and East Kutai), East Kalimantan Province is optimistic that it will win the best title at the 2020 Bhumandala Award.
