Webinar on National Blue Carbon Workshop “Blue Carbon Ecosystem : Challenges and Opportunities”

T, S, PI, Memd following the Webinar on National Blue Carbon Workshop with the theme "Blue Carbon Ecosystem: Challenges and Opportunities" virtually through the Zoom Meeting application.
Webinar which was opened by the Deputy for Maritime and Natural Resources of the National Planning and Development Agency was moderated by Toney Wagey, PhD (ICCTF Executive Director) and was attended by around 170 participants consisting of officials consisting of officials Scope of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Ministry of Bappenas, Ministry of Maritime Coordinating Ministry, and Investment, Provincial Bappeda in Indonesia, Provincial Maritime and Fisheries Office in Indonesia, Dean of Riau University FPIK, Director of IORA Indian Ocean Blue Carbon Hub (CSIRO)., And NGO which is engaged in the conservation sector
This meeting aims to gather a multi-stakeholder key actor to develop the Blue Carbon Road Map going forward. In addition, it provides an understanding of Blue Carbon and the urgency of the mainstreaming of Blue Carbon in the mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions in Indonesia.
in Indonesia has 3.1 million ha of mangroves, and 3.3 million seagrass fields.
